Rick Plester is a producer and touring guitarist residing in Toronto, Los Angeles and Austin To date Rick has been involved in 118 records as a Producer/Engineer or guitarist working with names such as,The Scorpions;James Kottak, Michael Schenker, George Lynch, Wasp, and many others major acts. Rick is the founding member of International recording artist Black Symphony and was also the guitarist in WWIII and filled in briefly with friends Kottak. Ricks great chops and inspirational vision in song writing help him create his own unique style of rock music; Some magazine writers have called him a true genius. Rick also won the LA Guitars Wars and several Canadian guitar wars contests. Currently Rick has just released his debut instrumental record, and shot two hi budget videos and with 3 tracks from the record that will be featured in the game “Rock Band” release Jan 2012.. Before Ricks music career he was a Pro Hockey player (goalie) for several years both in Ice Hockey and Roller Hockey. Both careers started overlapping so he picked music. Rick has also written music for ABC, NBC, ESPN, FOX, FOR SPORTS & The NHL. Currently Rick is the touring guitarist for former Iron Maiden lead vocalist Blaze Bayley whom just finished a USA tour and is preparing for a 2012 tour of Canada, USA and Mexico and are working on some new recordings for his upcoming record “King of Metal”.Starting in Jan 2012.
